For the second-consecutive year, CPI Security employees celebrated Valentine’s Day by volunteering with Baby Bundles of North Carolina, a nonprofit that provides baby essentials to families in financial need in the Charlotte area.

On Friday, Feb. 11, more than 85 CPI Security employees took time out of their day to unpackage and fold baby clothing. Baby Bundles relies on volunteers to help them prepare the thousands of bags filled with baby essentials they donate to deserving mothers each year.

Each “Baby Bundle” includes clothing, blankets, books, and toys. The nonprofit says the bundles meet both an emergent need and the baby’s needs for well over their first year of life.

After several hours of volunteer work, CPI Security employees unpackaged and folded 1584 burp cloths, 760 hats, and 1650 pairs of pajamas to be packed into baby bundles for the upcoming year. During last year’s volunteer event, CPI Security employees folded 500 outfits and more than 1,300 onesies.
