CPI Security is proud to present the Community Impact Award to the Concord Police Department.
CPI Security’s Community Impact Award recognizes first responders for going above and beyond their daily duties. Four officers with the Concord Police Department were honored with the award for their work on the Concord Youth Police Academy. The Youth Police Academy teaches middle and high school students about a career in law enforcement.
“The Youth Police Academy is an opportunity for our hardworking School Resource Officers to continue their efforts that they’ve done throughout the entire year into this three-day program that allows them to work with prospective future law enforcement officers really hands-on to be able to highlight the things that law enforcement does so hopefully that will translate into future law enforcement officers,” Concord Police Chief Jimmy Hughes said.
In addition to the award, CPI Security made a $1,000 donation to the Concord Police Foundation to further its mission of supporting first responders and their families.
